Sandtex Trade Stabilising Solution is a clear, highly penetrative primer designed to seal, bind, and stabilize chalky, powdery, or porous exterior masonry surfaces and building boards before painting. It locks loose particles in place to create a strong, uniform foundation for masonry topcoats.
Key Features & Options
- Water-Based (Quick Dry): Low odor, touch dry in 1 to 2 hours, and recoatable in 4 to 6 hours with soap-and-water cleanup.
- Solvent-Based (Oil-Borne): Deeply penetrates heavy chalking, touch dry in 4 hours, and recoatable in 16 hours with white spirit cleanup.
- Application: Applied clear as a single coat to control surface suction and stop flaking.
